Sinigang na Bangus (milkfish)

Another household favorite, although I am not fish fanatic, I still love to cook fish dishes. A loved dish by the kids of the family, because of the sour-y taste of the sabaw.

Ingredients:

  • 1 small bangus (milkfish) sliced
  • 2 med tomatoes
  • 1 med onion
  • 1 bundle kangkong (water spinach)
  • 1 radish
  • sampaloc (tamarind) mix
  • salt
  • water
Procedure:
  • boil 2-3 cups of water with sliced onions and tomatoes
  • when already boiling, add in the fish, salt and tamarind powder
  • let it simmer for 2 more minutes
  • add in the vegetables and boil for another 1 minute
  • serve hot with rice
