Fave!

My favorite coffee shop! :D It has been my expensive companion since I started College, slashing a hefty amount on my pocket almost everyday. But what can I do, I just can't help it. I love their concoctions, that's why! My mom is the one who nags me about this addiction, but gives up since she can't really stop me from buying. I can actually go on days without rice and regular meals but without coffee? you got to be kidding me!

MY FAVORITE BLOG AWARD

Again, thanks to my dearest friend Paula for this super nice award :D it has been ages since the last time I received and appreciative award from a blogger friend.. this made my day, really! It actually made me believe that my blog is quite worth visiting :D

Thanks again mare! passing this to my twitter friends! :D

Damaged

My mom and pop are quite busy for the past two days now, you see, after my dad arrive he has been arranging house stuff already, because of all things to have a problem, our sewage got clogged! So we had to fix it call the subdivision's utility maintenance service and inform them the problem and requested for a sewage backup for as to what I heard, it would probably take up days to finish things up and have a regular sewage system for us. Actually, this made me think that having a proper and well moving sewage system is really an important thing for housing development and projects, so it is better to make sure that your sewage is properly workin and wouldn't cause you any troubles and all specially during the rainy season. It is also much better to have a reliable sewage contractor readily available for contact in case you need a help with your line.

Refreshing Lemonade Award

Belgian Malinois

Now that my dad is here, he is thinking of getting another pet for the house. Actually he is into Belgian Malinois dogs now, because a friend of him who has a family that breeds the said line of dog is convincing him to buy a puppy. Which I actually like too! it has been years since the last time I had a dog, and as early as now, I've been reading and visiting sites like Petwave.com that gives out pet information and other good features for pets like learning their behavior, the proper way of caring for them specially if it is still young, good nutrition information and even knowledge in disorders and sickness too. A very friendly site indeed because it can really help pet owners in knowing a lot of good stuff that has to do with one's pet. For sure, I will be one of an avid fan of the said site once we have the dog :D

jaeger lecoultre watch - a dream

Now that Thanksgiving and Christmas season is just a few days away, it made me think of what holiday present shall I get for myself. You see, I wanted to grab the opportunities of the great black friday sale after thanksgiving but until now, I haven't decided on what to get. If only money wouldn't be a problem, I would love to get a jaeger lecoultre watch, you see, it has been ages since I started loving their designs and craftsmanship when it comes to the details of their watches. jaeger lecoultre, famous luxury brand of watches is one of the most highly acclaimed brand of the rich and the fashionistas alike. And of course, having one is simply amazing.

http://www.diamondvues.com/archives/Jaeger-Lecoultre%20watch.jpg
This particular design is actually what I like. And hear this, I also learned that the watchery.com is currently offering huge discounts on their watches! getting ahead of the thanksgiving sale, making watch lovers go gaga over their items on sales! Imagine their blowout discount up to 85% off on selected items, a steal it is right!? And good news for the paypal users, because they are accepting that mode of payment, which actually made me log in to my paypal account and see if the amount that I have can reach the amount for the watch I've been eeying for the longest time now.
So there, maybe you would like to see it for yourselves, check out the most awaited sale season of the year and get yourself a new watch! We'll see if I can snag one for myself, oh I hope so!

Dora themed

My niece is about to celebrate her second birthday this coming January making my sister go gaga over the preparation. Well not that we are having a big party like her first but instead we are keeping it low this time, thinking of doing it in our place instead of getting a venue or something. The fast food reservation is also removed from the list because we might get flooded with guests and all. But one thing is for sure, we will have a Dora themed party this time. Been looking out for cake designs so my sister can decide on what to order.

Santa can you hear me?

I remember how I used to write letters to Santa when I was young, my mom made me believed that he is really true. Actually, up to now I still believe in Santa Claus and whenever I do good throughout the year, I believe that I really receives gifts and presents from him, although my parents are the one handing it to me. And today, I still wanted kids to believe in Santa. I really don't know but Christmas wouldn't be complete without that big tummy man from the north pole right?!

http://santapartners.com/files/u1/joulukirje2007.jpg

Anyways, do you know that you can send a Santa Letter to your kids straight from the North Pole?! now that sounds nice isn't?! your kids would probably go gaga when they receive a letter from him! Go check out www.lettersfromsanta.com and see how you can make your kids Christmas more exciting and memorable!

Congee

I really love congee, even the regular ones, just plain no added stuffs or whatever. But of course, I love Chinese style too! with century eggs, meat balls and the works! just what I recently ordered in DFS, a hot bowl of yummy-ness! :D I can practically live in a world with congee everyday. hehehe

face talks

My sister has been nagging me to go to her dermatologist for a quick check on my zits and all. But being busy, I just can't squeeze in that, plus the fact that I want a real deal on my face when it comes for the treatments and all. It was my dad who actually tells me about Botox Chicago, a Dermatology clinic that is famous for their cosmetic as well as medical and surgical treatment center. Headed by the top notch doctors, Dr. Eugene Mandrea and Dr. Steven Mandrea, I think I would love to get their laser acne treatment soon.

gift idea

Have you started your Christmas shopping for gifts and all? Because I am still one clueless dude here you know, been thinking of what great gifts idea I can give my friends as well as my professors and my adult relatives. Since this coming Christmas is a frugal year for my, I really wanted to buy gifts that are uniform like so everyone will receive the same item as the others. And I wanted to give edible stuffs too, done with the ceramics, coffee mugs and figurine collections, I believe that giving them something to eat and enjoy during the holidays is much more appreciated plus the fact that it can be serve too at the Christmas table. I might consider baked goodies such as brownies, cakes and the likes but I doubt if my sister can still accomodate my orders because as early as now, they have tons of baked goodies in line to produce. So she suggested of oredering/buying bulk gourmet nuts and repacking them in cute and holiday themed canisters or bottles. Sounds good to me, but still unaware of where to buy bulk nuts which is affordable and has a very renowned reviews of being deliscious and all. So what I did was browse the reliable internet and search for affordable and yummy gourmet nuts, and voila! I found myself browsing through www.nutsonthenet.com, a friendly site that sells out promising nuts from cashews to macademias to even sunflower seeds! (which I so love). I wonder why is it only now that I learn about this site, it has been ages since I've been looking for sites that sells out nuts and the likes. And since they are offering shipping option, I might order from them this year and be my gifts for everyone I love this season of sharing :D

Pepperoni Pizza

My sister and I had nothing to do yesterday afternoon and we can't seem to think of what good to eat. So we asks the little brat in the house and ask them what they want and surprisingly, the eldest shouted PIZZA! So my sister called the pizza house and order a family size Pepperoni topped pizza and about twenty minutes of waiting, the delivery man buzzed our bell and we all had a yummy afternoon snack! ;)

holiday rush starts

We were out the whole day yesterday, and guess what we did? Shopping! for groceries actually, for the pantries and the cupboard which my mom made full again! I think it'll be good until the holidays. You see, grocery shopping has been one of my favorite actually, I like strolling down the food aisles, inspecting and reading almost anything in display. Yeah, specially the foods! So everytime my mom tells me that she needs to do the grocery shopping I always invite myself to tag along and actually push my own cart too! that most of the time can really freak my mom because I always ending with a full stock of chips and the un-healthy stuff. To make the story short, she still limits my cart and take out half of everything I put in, for some healthy reasons she always says.
Anyways, I notice that malls and supermarkets are starting to be so crowded nowadays, I bet people are hoarding stuffs that they will need for the holidays, because I heard that there will be a lot of price hike for the common items that is being in demand during the Christmas and New Year's celebration. So what shoppers tends to do now is bag and buy those things that they will need to save up some cash. But what really catches my keen attention are the numbers of shoppers using their credit cards at the cashier, while the others I heard are already using their Cash Advance loans or whatever advance payday they requested. Just like the woman in front of us telling my mom that she were able to get approve with the Virginia payday loans before coming in for vacation and that was what she was practically using during her holiday stay. Good choice for her because she was approved in no time right after her application, so now she is actually enjoying every cents she has! :D
So have yo done your holiday shopping too?
